Life is all about......

Just come back from UIA after involving myself in a programme. It was the 9th Inter school Debating Championship 2010. It was a blast to be involved and got to be one of the committees. This year gives me new experiences as I was incharge in ratio which is a kind of official bulletin for the debate and all the updates and tips and photos also brain teasers are in the ratio. Got to know new people, new debaters and new teachers. Its quite sad for not being an usher but its worth to be involved in other bureau. This year event is slightly different from past year as each school can only gamble one team in each category which is BM, BI and also new category(Arabic). More schools were involved rather than teams unlike last year when it happened to be less schools participating in the debate and more teams. It's like one school sent about two teams per category.

After putting lots of efforts in debating, the teams that got to final for English were SMK Damansara Utama and Methodist Boys School. The winner goes to Methodist and First runner up was given to SMK Damansara Utama. For Malay category, the teams that moved to final were KISAS and also STAR. Both teams performed quite well and, as result with 6-3 ratio, the Grand prize goes to KISAS while STAR, still maintaining their First Runner up like last year. For arabic category, SM Islam Hidayah is the winner.

Dont you feel like Im giving u guys a news??????Maybe the way I'm writing this post. Looks like writing a report rather than writing a story. HMMM.............. I started to get interested with this debate after being the committee for twice. But still dont have the guts and i'm absolutely impressed and salute to all the debaters as they can give their opinions and points in public. Good job guys. Till we meet again next year. Mind my english. I'm worried with my english as I rarely practicing with my writings except for speakings. You know, writing and speaking are two different things. sometimes, we can write well but we cant speak well. Sometimes, when your speaking skills are good and your writings can be vice versa.
